I have crawled through sharp metal while working in an ice cold aircraft hangar and it never snags nor is it torn. It repeals the rain and wet snow as well. So it goes everywhere with me these days .I have no doubts it will last 14 years just like my last Carhartt jacket.</span> February 5, 2013<meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2013-02-05" /></div><div id='16217943' itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review"><meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Hooded Jacket, Insulated, Black, L" /><span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating">Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">4</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span></span>Â by <span itemprop="author">TrashMan</span><span itemprop="name"> Good</span><span itemprop="description"> I just bought this. Hope I can edit review later?I drive a trash truck. Empty rear load dumpsters.I need something that will block the wind. Keep me warm. Also won't catch on the dumpsters and tear.I like the outer material. Hoping it won't catch on dumpster corners and tear. It seems like it will block the wind well. We're talking below zero wind chills. I have to stand there operating the back of this truck. This is the one thing I am hesitant on. The two grommet holes under the arms. When wearing this home. I noticed some wind/cold getting inside. I didn't know the holes were there. I'll have to see how it works out. Maybe there is some way to plug the holes if I want to? Maybe something modeled after a tie pin? I realize the holes are there to stop sweating. I'll have to try keeping my upper arms in when in bad cold/wind. I deducted a star for this concern. I also realize the material doesn't breathe. That's what I want, a wind block.I gotta have a good hood like this one. Attached, insulated. Stand facing down wind, and... Block that darn wind!I'm an average guy of 5'9". I bought the large TL. I wanted long sleeves so they wouldn't pull away from my wrist in the cold wind. I usually wear a 2xl shirt. In the end, this coat fits really good. I like that it's longer than other jackets I've had. I tried on a few in the store.I'm hoping this will work out as the perfect jacket for my work. Hope I can edit later. Or post another review.</span> January 30, 2013<meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2013-01-30" /></div><div id='16217957' itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review"><meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Hooded Jacket, Insulated, Black, L" /><span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating">Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">4</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span></span>Â by <span itemprop="author">hrlydude011</span><span itemprop="name"> An okay purchase.</span><span itemprop="description"> I was in desperate need of a new jacket and carhartt has a wonderful reputation for their durable and warm jackets. With that being said I started looking for jackets and came across this one. Overall this jacket is very warm and durable! The only complaint I have is that it is SO stiff. If you want a durable jacket your going to have tough fabric.. I have only worn it a few times and it is already starting to loosen up. Another thing is you should be really careful when choosing the size. I am 5'11" so first I got the Large/Reg I got it and it was so baggy. I sent it back and got a Medium/Reg and it fits perfect. Overall this is a very nice jacket.</span> October 18, 2012<meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2012-10-18" /></div><div id='16217947' itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review"><meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Hooded Jacket, Insulated, Black, L" /><span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating">Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">2</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span></span>Â by <span itemprop="author">Tubby</span><span itemprop="name"> Not what I was expecting.</span><span itemprop="description"> After reading glowing reviews of the product I figured I would give it a shot. First thing I noticed were the un-lined pockets. Seriously? 120 dollar jacket designed for "arctic temperatures" and you just sew a flap of material on? Secondly, this particular material will take months to work in. I understand it's made for extreme durability, but what do you do in the mean time, look like a fool with your hood laying in some ridiculous position? Thirdly, I purchased an XL/TL and it had so much extra bulk around the belly and just barely enough length im 5'10. If I had sized down to a L/TL it would have been even shorter. I returned the jacket the next day. I know there are many many people on here that are thrilled with the product, I am just not one of them.</span> January 9, 2012<meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2012-01-09" /></div><div id='16217953' itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review"><meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Hooded Jacket, Insulated, Black, L" /><span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating">Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">3</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span></span>Â by <span itemprop="author">veganseason</span><span itemprop="name"> Great Jacket, Poor Fit</span><span itemprop="description"> the jacket is awesome by every means except for fit, for some reason it is way short, and I own a bunch of carhartt gear, including jackets, and this one is way shorter than the rest, the kind of short like when you bend over and the jacket is half way up your back, besides that, very warm and very comfortable, hopefully I just had a bad one that went under the radar at the quality control center, I think this was my third season using it and there is not a tougher jacket out there, I just wear longer shirts!</span> March 28, 2011<meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2011-03-28" /></div><div id='16217938' itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review"><meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Hooded Jacket, Insulated, Black, L" /><span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating">Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span></span>Â by <span itemprop="author">artty</span><span itemprop="name"> soo warm</span><span itemprop="description"> this is the most awesome jacket it is so warm my husband cant wait to go out in the woods so he can get attacked by a wolf and see the wolf loose a tooth</span> December 29, 2010<meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2010-12-29" /></div><div id='16217949' itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review"><meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Hooded Jacket, Insulated, Black, L" /><span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating">Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span></span>Â by <span itemprop="author">chevyzman81</span><span itemprop="name"> only coat for 8 years</span><span itemprop="description"> I have had this coat for a solid 8 years the last 7 of which i have been working construction outside all winter long and I am just now going to purchase a new one my only qualm was that standard sizes seem to run a little on the short side they barely made it to my waist and I am not an extremely tall guy at only 5 11</span> December 17, 2010<meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2010-12-17" /></div><div id='16217936' itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review"><meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Hooded Jacket, Insulated, Black, L" /><span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating">Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span></span>Â by <span itemprop="author">Daniel</span><span itemprop="name"> Defiantly would recommend</span><span itemprop="description"> I have just got this jacket, but in the amount of time I have had it the J133 Extreme Jacket is a very nice and warm jacket.</span> November 29, 2010<meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2010-11-29" /></div> </div><!--end-reviews--> <script type="text/javascript">document.getElementById('BVRRReviewsSoiSectionID_3RFX2').style.display = 'none';</script></div><!--begin-pagination--><div class="BVRRPager BVRRPageBasedPager"><span class="BVRRPageLink BVRRPageNumber"> <a href="http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/wwg/itemDetailsRender.shtml?seoUrl=CARHARTT-Hooded-Jacket-3RFX2&cm_mmc=SL-_-Article-_-Construction-_-3RFX2&ItemKey=3RFX2&bvrrp=5049-en_us/reviews/product/2/3RFX2.htm" title="2" class="BVPageLink">2</a></span><span class="BVRRPageLink BVRRNextPage"><a href="http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/wwg/itemDetailsRender.shtml?seoUrl=CARHARTT-Hooded-Jacket-3RFX2&cm_mmc=SL-_-Article-_-Construction-_-3RFX2&ItemKey=3RFX2&bvrrp=5049-en_us/reviews/product/2/3RFX2.htm" title="next" class="BVPageLink">next</a></span><span class="BVRRPagerArrows">>></span> </div><!--end-pagination--> </div></div>
