It handled the job better than I hoped. I used it for about 8 straight hours and it never slowed down and didn't over heat. So buying a new, larger drill was a breeze because I already new the manufacturer that I wanted. I went for, relatively, the largest hammer drill Bosch makes before it was more like a jack hammer. That is why I got the 2'' 11245EVS (SDS Max). It was quite pricey for me, but it does exactly what it is advertised to do, 'nuff said. I did a lot of research and found that almost no &quot;power tool&quot; is made/assembled in the US; including Bosch.
