Bosch includes special instructions on how to release it in this case, so I don't consider this an issue.The saw is fast and smooth, and easy to hold. I've had no problem cutting with it. Tried to use it for the first time and after 30 min. of trying to get a blade in it, I did some research and found that it does not take Bosch U-shank blades. Ok. I tried a standard T-shank blade and after an hour of bloody fingers, internet research and instruction book reading, I realized that I, and hundreds of others willing to express their disappointment in Bosch on line, had gotten an lemon. Their innovative tool-less blade change system is worthless and the engineer who came up with the JS260 jigsaw probably should be fired.
