I have since started replacing quite a few items in my arsenal with Bosch, based on this experience (drill driver, impact driver, jigsaw, circular saw, hammer drill). After getting out my digital reader and allocating a few hours to adjust my new saw, I discovered that it travelled around the world and stayed completely accurate. The fence is great - figured that I'd have to upgrade and still haven't found the need. The blade guard is easily removed, although it doesn't get in your way when you need it.It took a little bit of time to assemble the gravity rise fence that came with mine (TS2000) but it helped me appreciate the quality of materials used with their products. The stand makes moving the saw easy, and has adjustable levelers on the bottom for uneven surfaces. There are no vibrations whatsoever. Very pleased. May 10, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Austin Flyer Exceeded my Expectations I have a garage shop, so a full size table saw was out of the question. I have owned a fully loaded Delta contractors saw and Unisaw, so my expectations are on the high side. I was nervous about buying this saw given my experience with other brand's portable power tools. I have to say that this saw & stand have exceeded my expectations. I don't cut sheet goods down with it, but for my number one use (ripping)...It can't be beat. I installed a freud thin kirf rip blade and a Leecraft Zero clearance insert, and the results are nothing less than phenomenal!!! It is accurate and the stand makes storage a breeze. I really appreciate the on board storage, and the blade guard and riving nice are suberb. I love this saw, and would recommend it to anyone in the market for a table saw for ripping or cutting less than full sized sheet goods. I would recommend a full size cabinet saw or, one of the plunge cut & guide rail saws for ripping down sheet goods. I realized that I was limiting my woodworking capabilities by not having the very best portable table saw available. I did comparison shoping for a saw for many months. After careful review of what was available I had no trouble in choosing the 4100-09 Bosch Saw. The 4100-09 is of the highest quality saw I ever owned. I treasure the saw and care for it as if it were a precious diamond. It is very portable which is a plus for me due to very limited space. It is a great portable saw. I store it in my garage and roll it outside to use it. The two major problems I have are the miter gauge. The disc does not stay attached. The screw keeps coming loose and falling out. The second problem I had was when a can of xylene fell, cracking open, and leaked on to the table top destroying the finish. I had to remove the remaining finish and then had to refinish the top. July 9, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 Best table saw I could find! After using an old "Hand Me Down" Rockwell table saw, I wasnt too sure what to expect from the latest offering by Bosch. All I can say is "Wow". This thing is on the money. The rip fence is straight and sturdy. The gravity rise stand is perfect. With my old solid base saw it was more of a work bench in the garage than a saw. The new one rolls nicely to the side and is a snap to set up when I need it.I was able to do 4' rip cuts in 3/4" OSB by myself without any additional extensions.
