Starts easy, the line is a snap to change and has lots of power for high Texas hill country weeds. The large wheels help to manuver it on uneven terrain since I am not a large person. The guard is great to keep rocks from being thrown against windows or my husband. It is a little pricey but worth every penny. The only improvement I would like to see is an easier method to change the oil.</span> July 11, 2012<meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2012-07-11" /></div><div id='7270393' itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review"><meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Field Trimmer, 22 In. The only reason I gave it four stars and not five, is the tires. The tires are the hard thin type, not the nice big fat ones you see on a wheel barrel. The machine is a work horse; however, the tires can make it difficult on any bumpy terrain (which is most of my property). The trimmer plows through anything and everything. It's very easy to pull start. It goes forever on a small amount of gas. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product.</span> June 13, 2012<meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2012-06-13" /></div><div id='6601957' itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review"><meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Field Trimmer, 22 In. The first one lasted 12 years with use every couple weeks all summer long every year. It finally wore out the piston attachment and froze up. While I waited for the new one to arrive I had to mow my wild areas on my 1/2 acre property, so I rented one of the "supposed highest rated wheeled mowers" to get is all caught up. That was the most miserable mowing experience I have ever had. The manner of adjusting the height of the cutting cords took forever to adjust. If the cords were broken off equal to the holder you needed needle nose pliers and at least 20-30 minutes to remove the rest of the cord and attach a new one. The power was attrocious. I live on a hillside and it really was not happy cutting when it was not level. I was so happy to receive the new Ariens a little over a week later. The improvements over the 12 years are great. I highly recommend this trimmer. The only improvement or option I would love to see available would be self propelled, as I get older.</span> June 12, 2012<meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2012-06-12" /></div> </div><!--end-reviews--> <script type="text/javascript">document.getElementById('BVRRReviewsSoiSectionID_10L386').style.display = 'none';</script></div><!--begin-pagination--><div class="BVRRPager BVRRPageBasedPager"><span class="BVRRPageLink BVRRPageNumber"> <a href="http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/wwg/itemDetailsRender.shtml?seoUrl=ARIENS-Field-Trimmer-10L386&ItemKey=10L386&bvrrp=5049-en_us/reviews/product/2/10L386.htm" title="2" class="BVPageLink">2</a></span><span class="BVRRPageLink BVRRNextPage"><a href="http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/wwg/itemDetailsRender.shtml?seoUrl=ARIENS-Field-Trimmer-10L386&ItemKey=10L386&bvrrp=5049-en_us/reviews/product/2/10L386.htm" title="next" class="BVPageLink">next</a></span><span class="BVRRPagerArrows">>></span> </div><!--end-pagination--> </div></div>
